Since we just celebrated our 1 Year Anniversary I thought it would be a good idea to quick recap what we've been doing for the past year.
July
We got married July 12, 2011 at The Atrium in Sandy. It was beautiful and everything I could have asked for.
For our Honeymoon we spent a week in Mexico. It was so much fun. Some of our favorite things to do were going parasailing, snorkeling, going to Explore where we got to ride four wheelers through the jungle, do zip lines, and canoeing. We spent lots of time laying out at the pool. We ate way too much food! We went into town to go shopping. We went on a party bus. Overall we had a fabulous time!!! I hope one day, sooner than later, we can go on another trip to Mexico!
August
The highlight for this month was going to the Tim McGraw concert at USANA.
The worst part of the month... I totalled my car! It was my first car accident and I was so terrified. Luckily I was fine, but my car was toast. I enjoyed driving around my "marshsmellow" while I waited to hear back about my car and while car shopping!
September
I bought my new car!!! I was planning on just getting something to hold me over for a little while, a cheap Honda or something... but anyone who knows me knows I'm probably just going to end up with what I really want... and I did. I bought a Subaru Tribeca and LOVE it!!
October
We had our first Halloween together. Every year my friends and I throw a Halloween party. Kendal and I dressed up at Jesse and Woody. If I do say so myself our costumes were pretty dang cute - thanks to a friend who had the perfect Woody shirt and my mom who helped make my costume.
November
For Thanksgiving we went down to Price to stay at Shauna's with all the family. We had Kendal's boys here. We all had a blast cooking, eating, playing cards, and going bowling!
From October- December I spent countless hours at the V Chocolates factory. I would work from 10am-5pm at my regular jobs and then head to V from 6pm-2am. Yes call me insane, but it is a love-hate relationship. I had fun people to work with and keep my entertained and even talked Kendal into coming to help some nights!
December
Our first Christmas together was really fun. We went to Tai Pan and got all of our tree
decorations - I was very happy when Kendal gave into my hot pink and lime green theme. I think our tree turned out so cute. We spoiled eachother with lot of gifts! A few favorites
were a new lens for my camera and an xbox 360.
January
One of Kendals best friends, Aragon, left to Afganastan so we went to say good-bye. I was so happy it wasn't Kendal leaving again... I am so not ready for that!
February
This was an exciting month... We found out we were pregnant!! We had been hoping for this for a few months now so we were so happy. Although my initial reaction was more shocked, I couldn't really believe it was true, I remember kind of just sitting there not knowing what to do, telling Kendal I needed to go to the doctors or something to make sure it was true. :) It was indeed! It was really hard for Kendal to keep it a secret. I didn't want to tell people right away and I thought Kendal was litterally going to pop if he didn't start calling everyone he knew.

March
We annouced to my family that we were having a baby finally!! I told everyone I had to show them something I bought - and came around the corner holding one boy outfit, one girl outfit, and said "So what do you think we're having??!!" Shauna screamed so loud it was hillarious. I think everyone was a little surprised, but everyone was very excited for us! I think my mom was happy she had just changed her mind about moving to DUBAI! She needs to be here for my first baby! :)
April
April is both our birthdays. For Kendal's birthday we had a joint bday dinner with Scotty and we went to Biaggi's at gateway with a bunch of friends. For my birthday we went bowling at Fat Cat's, always a favorite thing of ours to do. Kendal turned 36 and I turned 25!!
Kendal could not wait to found out if we were having a boy or girl... so instead of waiting for our doctor's appointment we went over to Fetal Photo and had pictures done.

May
We moved out of our 1st apartment, it was a bitter sweet thing. Kendal left to North Dakota to sell alarm systems and I moved back in with my parents. Luckily the North Dakota adventures only lasted about a month and a half and then I got my husband back. It was quite the adventure living there espcially after the Chris's wedding in June when him and Heather moved in as well! It was fun, but I was glad it was short.
I went and had my big ultra sound. Kendal was gone, so I took my mom. It was really cool to see everything. Our little boy was growing fast everything about him is perfect!
June
My little brother Chris got married. I am so excited to have another sister in law - her name is Heather. I couldn't have been more happy for them. Their 3 day wedding celebration was so much. I was a little jealous I didn't stretch mine out like that.
July
Holy cow we made it a year!!! I couldn't believe we were already celebrating our first anniversary! We went to dinner at the Melting Pot. It was delicious as ever and we were so full leaving I thought I was going to need to be rolled out. We went to my parents after where my mom pulled out the top piece of our wedding cake, I could not believe she still had it. She has kept it frozen, only I was daring enough to have a taste.
We found a house in bountiful to live in. It was very spur of the moment, but we were ready to leave my parents!! We found we could pay the same amount or less and move up north and get WAY more space then if we stayed around in sugarhouse. So here we are, in our first home. It's been a lot of work, but slowly it is all coming together! So far we have really enjoyed bountiful and love the neighborhood we moved into. I hope to stay here awhile ( I really HATE moving!)
