today was bryce's 5th birthday - he is the little boy i've been nannying since he was 15 months old - and i cannot believe we celebrated his 5th birthday today!! he had been asking me for walkie talkies for about a month now, so of course thats what i got him. i walk into their house this morning with a gift bag, all the kids are eating breakfast, i set the bag on the counter and say "HAPPY BIRTHDAY BRYCE!" - his response "YAY MY WALKIE TALKIES!" it was classic, good thing that's what happened to be inside the bag. later we celebrated with two of his friends at Jump Around Utah - which may i add was such a cool place, wish they had places like that when i was planning my birthday parties!
it is also my brother kevin's 28th birthday! so of course we did what he loves most and had a BBQ at my parents. we had a delicious meal of hamburgers, hot dogs, polish dogs, elk steak, chicken, pineapple, watermellon, chips & dip, and a salad (which of course i don't eat).
